Happy Emergency Nurses Day as we spotlight Jasmine Montes, RN, a Trinitas nursing success story. Jasmine was not only born at Trinitas; she was meant to be part of the team! As a lifelong resident of Elizabeth, Jasmine attended the CNA training program at Elizabeth High School (Halsey Academy), which sealed her fate of being a nurse. Jasmine worked in the Emergency Department (ED) registration at Trinitas and transferred to be a Patient Care Associate (PCA) while attending Trinitas School of Nursing (TSON). After graduating from TSON and obtaining her RN license, Jasmine immediately started working as an ED RN as part of the Emergency Nurse Residency Program. And today, Jasmine is precepting new graduate RNs! We celebrate her and all Emergency Nurses today, Oct. 9!
