Short-course championship season comes to a close this weekend as we host the 2024 TITANS Tar Heel States Championships, March 22-24. Nearly 1000 of our states top swimmers come to TAC to compete in this three-day/7-session event. The meet gets underway Friday evening for a Timed Finals session for all swimmers 9&O. Saturday and Sunday will feature morning Prelims and evening Finals for our 13&O athletes and afternoon Timed Finals for the 12&Us. Our sponsor hosts for this event include Kiefer Aquatics, the Poolside Grill, and Northwest Designs. The Spectator Stadium is open to the public and admission is free of charge. Heat Sheet programs for the event will be on sale in the Stadium lobby at the start of the session on Thursday and at Prelims each day. All parking lots surrounding the TAC facility are closed to the general public, as they are reserved for coaches, officials and TAC staff. Our West parking lot and the Epic Games lot are available for swimmers and spectator free parking. Please follow our event-modified traffic plan and travel safe through the property. TAC Welcomes the 30th Annual YOTA Capital Classic December means big meets and the YOTA Cap Classic definitely fits that bill! This year's 30th edition features over 600 swimmers from across the east coast here to complete in a YMCA championship-level event. Big Southern Classic is back and bigger than ever!  BSC will feature nearly 1100 swimmers and over 6500 spectators over the 3-day meet. The meet has seven sessions – one Friday evening and three each on Saturday and Sunday. Teams attending this meet will be North Carolina, Virginia, and teams from Grand Cayman Islands and Colorado. Sports and Social in Fenton is the named sponsor for this event. A dozen chili masters will be preparing their specialties for judging by our coaches and officials during hospitality lunch on Saturday. may the best chili win!!
