🚨 Hurricane Milton Update 🚨 The town is closely monitoring Hurricane Milton, which is currently moving across the Gulf of Mexico toward Florida. Forecasts predict a direct hit on the Tampa Bay region Wednesday evening, which could have devastating impacts. Milton is expected to cross the Florida peninsula and move into the Atlantic, where its path will determine how much our town will be affected. At this time, we expect rain, gusty winds, and possible coastal flooding late Wednesday into Thursday morning. Please stay tuned for updates as the forecast evolves. Stay safe, Summerville! #HurricaneMilton #LowCountryPrepared #SummervilleSafety
