🌀 Critical Update on Hurricane Milton 🌀 Hurricane Milton has rapidly intensified back to a Category 5 storm, posing an unprecedented threat to Florida. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) warns that #Milton could become one of the most destructive hurricanes on record for west-central #Florida, with potentially historic impacts beginning Wednesday. Widespread Impact: Tropical-storm-force winds could extend up to 140 miles from the center, meaning a large area will feel the effects as the storm approaches. Severe Threats: Expect destructive, life-threatening storm surge, widespread wind damage, flooding rainfall, and possibly an isolated tornado. The NHC forecasts storm surges of 10 to 15 feet above ground level along the western Florida Gulf Coast, particularly in the Tampa Bay area, if peak surge coincides with high tide. Let’s come together to support one another during this critical time. Stay safe, everyone! 💙 https://lnkd.in/gUZzySCv #HurricaneMilton #HurricanePreparedness #CommunitySafety #StayInformed
