Since we started as a one-person IT consulting firm in 1996, we've grown into a national leader with over 1,400 employees. Kara is an Events Manager on Tilson’s Marketing and Communications team and is responsible for planning and coordinating over 75 events throughout the year. She collaborates across all divisions at Tilson to help our employees prepare for industry events, tradeshows, and conferences. Today, Kara is celebrating her one year anniversary as part of the Tilson team (happy work anniversary!). Her favorite part of working at Tilson is getting to travel and meet new people, making her the perfect Events Manager. For this week’s #tilsontuesdays employee spotlight, meet Russell Tuttle II! Russell is an OSP and ISP Consultant on our Telecom Consulting team, a growing division at Tilson focused on improving broadband access for communities nationwide. Russell’s responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-engineering field surveys and technical due diligence evaluations. When he’s not in the field, Russell contributes to various projects within the consulting engineering team, such as grant reviews, writing standards and specifications, and assisting with high-level designs. “Working at Tilson has been a breath of fresh air. It’s a driven, goal-oriented group of composed individuals that I really enjoy working with," said Russell.
