Go behind the scenes of our first two weeks of June, where we began implementing simple menu changes that amounted to an emissions reduction of 6,307 kgs CO2e. To put it in perspective, that's equivalent to burning nearly 7,000 pounds of coal, driving over 16,000 miles in a gas-powered vehicle, or planting 104 trees and letting them grow for 10 years. 🍃 Exciting New Collaboration with Thomas Preti Events to Savor🍃 Few weeks ago, I received a call from Carl Hedin and Christopher Tonti expressing their interest in Nepal Tea Collective, PBC.. It turns out that we were among the top search results when they looked for #organic and #sustainable tea companies in #newyork. Interestingly, we discovered that our offices are located just across from each other. They are known for coordinating thousands of #events at New York's top venues and renowned for delivering exceptional #culinary #experiences tailored to each event's unique style. During our initial discussion, I had the opportunity to share with Carl and Chris our vision for #nepali #teas, highlighting our #commitment to empowering #farmers and streamlining the #supplychain. They were particularly impressed by the flavors and the #traceability & #transparency feature that we have embedded in our #compostable #tea #bags line with a QR code on our tea tags.
