TEA is the international association serving creators of compelling places and experiences. TEA members include designers, artisans, producers, manufacturers, project managers, technology specialists, operators and developers engaged in the visitor attractions industry - theme parks, museums, casinos, corporate visitor centers, heritage centers, retail, hospitality, resorts and more. TEA is a paid membership association with 1,500+ members worldwide, active on all continents. TEA activities include the prestigious, annual Thea Awards, TEA Summit, SATE conference on Experience Design, and publication of the annual TEA/AECOM Theme Index and Museum Index. For example, if TEA HQ was a standard member, we would designate one person to vote for the International Board and for the Western Division Board. 🔵 Each Academic/Student Member is allotted ONE (1) vote per ballot, in which they will receive the ballot for those running on the International Board and those in their Designated division. With his extensive experience and deep understanding of the power of volunteer leadership—refined during his time as Europe and Middle East Division President—Matt is uniquely positioned to guide us through the exciting opportunities ahead and will serve as President of the International Board through 31 December, 2026. As the Chairperson of 7thSense, a leading company in advanced media serving and show control for theme parks, live entertainment, and visitor attractions, Matt brings invaluable industry insight to his new role. His diverse career journey—from circus performer to project manager in the advanced display systems industry—has equipped him with a dynamic and adaptable approach to leadership and innovation. Matt holds a MBA with a specialization in technology business management and has considerable international business experience, managing projects across the globe. His dedication to fostering inclusivity and accessibility in the experience industry is evident in his volunteer work as a leader for a Scout group for young people with special needs, showcasing his commitment to creating enriching experiences for all.
