MASTER of the MOMENT: this is an award given to those nominated by their peers who acknowledge that this person, not only does their job but often goes above and beyond. The distinguished winner for the month of May was Leo Asong from our Ripple IT Department. Below is what his peers wrote in his nomination. "Leo is a shooting star that lands at the right time. Leo is always on his toes, helping when in need, sometimes before you can even ask. Leo goes above and beyond looking for problems to fix and follows up with completed projects to make sure everything is going well. Thank you Leo for your ongoing support, positive attitude, and enthusiastic spirit. You Rock!"

Have you ever marveled at the beautiful chandeliers hanging above our stage? Since they're so high up, the chandelier cleaning is only a bi-annual task. Gray from our maintenance team helped to replace all the light bulbs, dust the exterior, and clean the interior of accumulated debris, such as confetti from a show. MASTER of the MOMENT: this is an award given to those nominated by their peers who acknowledge that this person does their job and often goes above and beyond. The distinguished winner in the month of April was Kernan Rintamaa-Kowalski from our Marquee Club Department. Below is what her peers wrote in her nomination. "Kernan exemplified elevated service when she went into the kitchen and made plates for two travel-weary and hungry guests of an artist on the Revival show that came to the club just after they had taken the food away. Their flight had been delayed, and they were in town for the show and a funeral the next day. They had not eaten all day, and she sat and talked with them and made them feel at home and they raved about her service. Thank you for making these guests feel true Southern Hospitality."

MASTER of the MOMENT: this is an award given to those nominated by their peers who acknowledge that this person does their job and often goes above and beyond. The distinguished winner in the month of March was Antonio Tiggs from our Production Department. Below is what his peers wrote in his nomination. "Antonio Tiggs went above and beyond for Midtown Alliance to make sure their show would go off without a hitch. He spent countless days leading up to the event researching and testing different techniques to help make their opening number with the aerialists safe and sound. He produced a solution for what they wanted to accomplish, and the aerialists were extremely happy with the outcome, it was a huge success. Tiggs did a wonderful job making this a priority even though he had multiple shows he was working on at the time, and he still spent hours here on non-show days to make sure they had what they needed to be safe. Thank you Tiggs for going above and beyond! We appreciate your hard work and dedication." #FacesoftheFox #AtTheFox #masterofthemoment

We had a fantastic time at the IAVM Region 6 Biennial Conference last week in Oklahoma City! Huge thanks to everyone who engaged in the conversation on Work/Life integration – your energy was inspiring!   In the hustle and bustle of the live events industry, it's easy to feel like there's never enough time in the day. Who says we can't change that narrative?   According to our poll during the session, a whopping 84% admitted to letting work sneak into their personal time daily or several times a week. Sound familiar? Don't worry; you're not alone!    Here are five key takeaways that could revolutionize how you approach your work day and help you seamlessly integrate work and life:   ⚡Take Charge of Your Day: Remember, if you don't plan your day, someone else will gladly do it for you! ⚡Set Realistic Goals: Break down your tasks into manageable chunks and set achievable daily goals. ⚡Create Buffer Zones: Block out some extra time in your calendar to handle unexpected tasks or to simply catch your breath. ⚡Embrace Focused Bursts: Work intensely for a set period (approx. 25 min), take a short break to recharge, and repeat. ⚡Get Moving: When you take breaks, step away from your desk. Even a short walk can improve your focus and productivity!    Let's commit to making small changes that lead to big results and a whole lot more fun! MASTER of the MOMENT: this is an award given to those nominated by their peers who acknowledge that this person does their job and often goes above and beyond! The distinguished winner in the month of February was Michael Cressey from our Security Department. Below is what his peers wrote in his nomination. "Michael is truly a superstar sent from above. He answers the many radio calls and never has a frown or complaint with the million requests from me during a show day. He is called upon like a broken record over the radio and it’s Michael to the rescue without hesitation. He is definitely a great addition to not just Security, but to the Fox Family."
