The Villages President & CEO and EVP of Development & Communications attended the ceremonial signing of House Bill 1101 yesterday. We are grateful to Representative Ryan Lauer for authoring the bill, Co-authored by Rep. McGuire, Rep. Davis, and Rep. Bauer who all worked with agencies like The Villages and individuals with lived experience to pass this legislation. The bill established a safe baby court as a type of problem-solving court for children three years of age and younger who are in need of services.
