Annual Back-to-School Candyland Carnival was a Sweet Success!
The Village School families kicked off the new school year with a delightful and fun-filled evening at our annual Back-to-School Candyland Carnival! The event was a tremendous success, bringing together our vibrant community for an afternoon of joy, laughter, and sweet memories.
Families enjoyed a wide variety of food, treats, and exciting games that transformed our school gyms into a magical Candyland. From colorful sweets to delicious food stations, there was something to satisfy every craving. The kids had a blast participating in games, dancing to music by a live DJ, winning prizes, jumping and sliding on bounce houses, getting their faces painted, and simply enjoying the playful atmosphere. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds that make our community so special.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made the evening unforgettable. A special thank you to our VSPA volunteers and to all our student and school faculty and staff volunteers who made the event a super sweet success. Additionally, our Village Success Center, comprising The Learning Center, QUEST College Success, and the Bridge and Enrichment Programs, serves our students as a neurodiverse center designed to stretch the brightest, support those with language-based learning differences, and provide the very best in individualized college placement counseling. In addition to now being fully accredited by SAIS, we are also accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools. We are proud members of the National Honor Society and were recognized nationally by the College Board's Advanced Placement Program Honor Roll as a Platinum level school.

Our Upper School students kicked off day 1 of Knight Week at Camp Realife Vero Beach. They had an absolute blast competing in mud pit tug of war, water activities and sports, and a fun but moving worship service. This week is about uniting our students, growing their bonds, and bringing their spiritual life to new heights. Be on the lookout for some fun stories featuring our Upper School students as their experience continues this week.

Our first Chapel of the new school year was a joyful and inspiring occasion. With the steadfast support of North Naples Church, our students were able to deepen their connection to both their faith and one another. Tonight was an unforgettable night for all our TVS Kindergartners, as they gathered in their cozy pajamas in the library for our traditional "Knight Before Kindergarten" event! With milk, tasty treats, and Mrs. Outlaw reading special stories, the evening was full of joy, fun and magic.
As the evening came to a close, it was clear that this was more than just a night of stories: It was a gentle introduction to the journey that lies ahead for these children as they step into the world of learning and discovery. Watching them listen so intently, their faces filled with wonder, reminded us of the power of stories to bridge generations and build a sense of community.
We are grateful for the parents and staff who helped create this memorable evening, and for the children who reminded us of the beauty of new beginnings. "The Knight Before Kindergarten" will stay with us, not just as an event, but as a cherished memory that celebrates the magic of childhood and the joy of learning.

Our Back to School Orientation and Open House had off the charts energy! It was incredible to see smiling faces, both new and familiar, coming together to kick off another fantastic school year.
