Meet Timothy Lewis, a committed and loyal team member who has been part of The Venetian Resort family for an incredible 22 years, working diligently on the overnight shift in our Security Department! Throughout his journey, Timothy has served in various roles, including Security Officer, Bike Officer, Field Training Officer (FTO), and Control Room Assistant Coordinator, always demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. What is the best leadership advice you’ve ever been given? Create your own personal Board of Directors to enrich your decision-making process and take you to the next level. I was told your Board of Directors should be diverse, supportive, honest, solid leaders and mentors with different skills, backgrounds, and viewpoints that can challenge and provide guidance in your professional growth through different eras of your career. Ask yourself, who is your Board of Directors? What three characteristics do you believe a great leader needs to have? Be authentic, be resilient, and be compassionate.

It was such a great experience to be celebrated for all the effort and dedication being put into my job. What is a characteristic of yours you are most proud of? The characteristic I am most proud of is being able to communicate with others. I believe communication is key to success in professional and personal relationships.
