I'm joining forces with them to highlight the critical role water plays in our daily lives and the urgent need to invest in our aging water infrastructure. Over 2 million Americans lack reliable access to clean water. Our nation faces significant water challenges. Much of our water infrastructure is over 100 years old, with a water main breaking every two minutes across the country. Climate change worsens water issues, from scarcity to flooding, and over two million Americans still lack access to clean water and wastewater services. Despite these challenges, there is good news: people across our country care about water. The 2024 Value of Water Index shows 88% of voters prioritize safe and reliable water, with bipartisan support for federal investment in water infrastructure. Together, our voices have the power to make waves of change.
