Being a busy mom with a chronic illness, I wouldn’t have been able to re-establish this healthy routine if not for the inspiration and support received from The Sumaira Foundation. On October 5th, we hosted our Miami Patient Day for NMOSD & MOGAD at Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort. Our in-person bilingual (english & spanish) event hosted 65+ attendees including patients, caregivers, clinicians, advocates and industry representatives. This event was hosted in conjunction with the NMOSD: Updates on Diagnosis and Therapy meeting organized by Dr. Flavia Nelson MD and Dr. Kottil Rammohan of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
