We’re thrilled to announce the opening of Las Palmas Apartments, a beautiful multifamily supportive housing development that provides 53 apartments to individuals in the Wilmington neighborhood in the City of Los Angeles. Las Palmas is an adaptive reuse project that utilized the existing building site, transforming it into dynamic housing. It will also feature a community room, open-air courtyard, and furnished apartments. Designed by KFA Architecture, Las Palmas is developed and co-owned by Brilliant Corners and The Richman Group. The Richman Group provides a full-time on-site property manager, and Brilliant Corners provides wrap-around supportive services to residents. We’re so grateful to our partners on this project: Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, Los Angeles Housing Department, Los Angeles County Development Authority, HACLA, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, United Way of Greater Los Angeles, CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions, Genesis LA, Bank of America, California Community Reinvestment Corporation. Putting the finishing touches on Aspire at Church Street in Norfolk. It's been a 1.5 year journey and now a mad dash to completion. The mayor has dubbed this the gateway to downtown, and riding down Brambleton Ave or Church Street, it is quite striking (if I do say so myself). 85 units of mixed income apartments with a gym, computer room, art room and club room. This marks the first collaboration between The Richman Group and Breeden Construction and we couldn't be more proud of the product.

Congratulations to Weingart Center Association and Chelsea Investment Corporation on the grand opening of Weingart Towers 1, the largest homeless housing project in Los Angeles history! This historic project, located in the heart of the Skid Row District, is poised to be a valuable asset to the community. Weingart Towers 1 is a new construction project featuring 278 units housed in a 19-story building. These units are specifically designed to provide safe, secure, and dignified housing for unsheltered individuals. The community includes 228 studio apartments and 50 one-bedroom apartments, with three units designated for onsite managers. Notably, 40 units are reserved for veterans. Each apartment is fully furnished and features a full kitchen, private bathroom, heating, and air conditioning. Weingart Towers 1 features amenities like a fitness room, computer lab, career center, library, bicycle storage, laundry facilities, terraces with community gardens, and nearby Metro access. Residents benefit from case management, healthcare, substance use services, educational and employment support, life skills training, and social activities. Local partnerships provide additional medical, dental, vision, and legal services. By offering a stable living environment and access to essential services, Weingart Towers 1 aims to empower its residents and provide a place they can call home. The main office of The Richman Group is in Greenwich, CT and this position may have a hybrid or remote option depending on geographic location.
