The Walk & Roll-A-Thon is in support of our friends at CPAN (Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault), the consumer protection organization fighting for an end to the care crisis caused by the auto insurance reform, with some family fun activities provided by The Lighthouse Neurological Rehabilitation Center Team! The Walk & Roll-A-Thon will be on a one-mile course and whether running, walking, or using a wheelchair, individuals can register and get pledges to travel one mile or more to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis impacting catastrophically injured car accident survivors. All funds raised will go toward the ongoing efforts at CPAN so they can continue fighting this fight! All Walk and Roll-A-Thon participants will pledge a minimum of $25 to complete the one-mile course and will receive a water bottle, a #MICareCrisis bracelet, snacks, and enjoy the many other activities planned at the event - which is open to Walk & Roll participants and non-participants!! We hope to see you there! Register at https://lnkd.in/gmWYsRqK Any questions please call Brenda Pomeroy at 989-553-6110.

DON'T LIVE WITH ONGOING MUSCLE PAIN. TRY DRY NEEDLING FOR IMMEDIATE RELIEF. What is dry needling (also known as intramuscular manual therapy); A technique trained physical therapists use to treat pain and movement impairments. The physical therapist inserts a "dry" needle, one without medication or injection, into areas of the muscle. What indications will dry needling help: • Muscle, joint pain, ache, swelling • Headaches • Shoulder, elbow, knee, ankle injuries • Sciatica • Myofascial pain with the presence of trigger points • Chronic pain • Low back pain • Strains • Osteoarthritis • Fibromyalgia • Tendinopathies • Other conditions indicated by physical therapists How can you be seen at the Lighthouse Rehabilitation Center? Discuss dry needling with your physician or specialists. A script is not required but is recommended. Call 989-673-2500 (Caro location) to set up an evaluation with our trained physical therapists. New and prior outpatients welcomed. https://lnkd.in/eYjhZYJ

The Traverse City location had a very successful and exciting sailing trip! We want to give a huge shout out to Discovery Center & Pier as well as the Tall Ship for giving this opportunity to our clients. This was an amazing experience that we would have never been able to provide for this many clients and staff. Thank you!

Let's take a moment to reflect on our 2023 vocational program outcomes. Our goal is to assist our residents (if considered for supportive employment services) with functional, physical, and cognitive limitations to enter, maintain or return to employment. "I love how the Lighthouse has created jobs to work around my appointments so I can get training and hours" "I work hard because I am anxious to be able to work in the community" "The job coaches help me out a lot, I would be lost without them." https://lnkd.in/gP8nePqa https://lnkd.in/eYjhZYJ #makingsurethelifetheyrelivingisalifeworthliving

One of our ESOP Communication Committee members, Melissa Wagner, hand painted this beautiful picture. We added the ESOP light, she created the saying, and we added our Lighthouse logo. It turned out AMAZING. We are proud and thankful to be an employee owned company. Employee ownership is truly a guiding light to growth. #ESOP #employeeowned #employeestockownershipplan
