Earlier this week, we were delighted to provide a loaded baked potato bar to 60 staff and volunteers at Midwest Food Bank to thank them for everything they do in our community.

Looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people? We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with programming for children aged 4 and under. All youth activities take place at our shelter. Volunteer hours are Monday-Thursday, 10am-8pm. You can volunteer for as little as one hour at a time—every bit helps! It’s Spooky Season, and our survivors and their families will have the opportunity to celebrate Halloween here at our Emergency Shelter. To provide them with a sense of normalcy as they heal, we are asking for these donations this month. Donations can be taken to the administrative building (2011 N. Meridian Street) – front door for assistance, Monday – Friday, 9am to 4pm. #WishlistWednesday

Earlier this year, we were awarded a $4,000 grant from the Mission Team from Northminster Presbyterian Church to support the programs and services we offer here at The Julian Center. We are grateful for the generosity and support to help our survivors as they work towards self-sufficiency and independence.

We’re looking for passionate volunteers who are excited to make a positive impact in the lives of our young people! We need volunteers for mentoring, tutoring, assisting with youth programs, and organizing activities and events.
