Congrats to the Detroit Tigers on yesterday’s win! As the Official Law Firm of the Detroit Tigers, we had the opportunity to support their Youth Baseball/Softball Camps this year. The program is a chance for young baseball and softball players and fans to get an idea of what it’s like to be a Tiger and make lifelong memories. The athletes and Fieger Law team members recently gathered at Comerica Park for the Champions Day Skills Competition, where the top 10 scorers in each camp’s age competed for the win. Fieger Law is dedicated to making the legal field more approachable and appealing to metro Detroit kids. Our Legal Career Day Program is an opportunity to provide local students with a tour of the firm, academic training, a mock trial and lunch. Earlier this week we hosted 9th and 10th graders from the Crescent Academy, where our own attorneys engaged with and inspired students with presentations and conversations. We had a huge group and are very grateful for everyone who participated and helped make this a meaningful and memorable Legal Career Day.

Fieger Law Wins $6.4 Million Dollar Jail Death Appeal The U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously upheld the family of Wade Jones’s civil rights jury verdict of $6.4 Million for Deliberate Indifference to Serious Medical Needs against multiple jail medical providers. This case was tried to verdict by Fieger Law attorney, Jennifer Damico. Programs that empower Metro Detroit kids are a win in our book! As part of our partnership with the University of Detroit Mercy, we are proud to power their youth sports clinic with Titans Athletics on Sunday, September 22 from 9am to 12pm. The event is FREE and is intended to help children ages 6 – 12 learn new sports or sharpen their skills. They’ll offer stations for soccer, basketball, softball, lacrosse, track & field, golf and fencing, plus other fun contests. Today we had the pleasure of honoring our dedicated employee Ann Marie, who is retiring after an impressive 26 years with Fieger Law.
