Social isolation and chronic loneliness are on the rise among workers the world over, especially among remote workers. Employers can help by finding ways to improve how engaged employees feel with their work and colleagues, writes Gallup’s Ryan Pendell. ✔️ Globally, one in five employees report experiencing loneliness a lot the previous day ✔️ Loneliness is more prevalent among employees younger than age 35 than it is for those aged 35 and older. ✔️ Work location shows the biggest differences in employees’ experiences with loneliness.
