The Dallas Foundation serves as a resource, leader and catalyst for philanthropy by providing donors with a flexible means of making gifts to charitable causes that enhance our community and beyond. The Dallas Foundation gives donors a means to carry out their philanthropic vision. We help professional advisors address their clients’ needs and goals. We also identify community needs and bring together intellectual and financial resources to address them. The Dallas Foundation awards grants for a broad array of charitable purposes in the areas of the arts, education, early childhood development, environment, health, aging, human and social services, and public/civic benefit that improve the well-being of the residents of North Texas and beyond.

Last week, The Dallas Foundation was proud to host “From Transaction to Transformation: Collaborative Client Engagement” with our colleagues in the Financial Planning Association (FPA) Dallas-Fort Worth, DALLAS ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL, and Dallas Council of Charitable Gift Planners. For over a decade, The Dallas Foundation’s Pegasus Prize has invested in bold, transformational solutions to the most pressing issues facing our community. We’re proud to showcase several of our previous winners, who have each made a positive impact with their innovative solutions. Today, we are delighted to showcase Family Compass! Family Compass works to prevent child abuse and neglect in North Texas through home mentoring programs, community education, and outreach to families with elevated risk.
