Our Clorox Europe team is giving back through a partnership with the local charity Habitats & Heritage. They spent the day volunteering recently at the Kilmorey Mausoleum in Twickenham, England, helping to transform it into a model wildlife garden for school and community groups. From planting a lavender hedge to sowing wildflower seeds, the team of 30 rolled up their sleeves to contribute to this environmental cause. At different locations across Greater China and Korea, our people came together recently for the "Give Backpack" initiative, blending allyship and social responsibility. Cross-functional teams tackled challenges and filled backpacks with food and essentials for a local charity. Each participant also committed to one action to practice allyship during this fiscal year. On World Gratitude Day, we have a lot to be thankful for. We’re grateful to our consumers for always pushing us to think about how we can serve their needs in new, innovative ways. We’re grateful to our customers for being our partners in driving growth. We’re grateful to our communities, which support our people where they live and work. And, of course, we’re grateful to our teammates, whose hard work, creativity and passion make our success, and our impact, possible. A busy summer of giving back to our communities around the world brought additional goodness in the fight against food insecurity. Teammates volunteered almost 3,740 hours of their time cleaning up green spaces, filling backpacks for kids heading back to school and much more. And through our 1 Hour = 100 Meals initiative from June through August, for every hour of their time, our foundation donated 100 meals — for a total of 373,800 meals.
