We were pleased to welcome the Leadership Team from Beth Hillel B’nai Emunah in Wilmette. This dedicated and energetic crew helped organize materials for The Ark’s annual Back-to-School Program, learned about programs and services at The Ark, and stepped up to answer the call for their congregation to provide couscous for our pantry following supply chain challenges!

🍽️ Kosher food can cost 50% more than non-kosher food, which can cause hardship for those who keep kosher with limited resources. The Rhea Segal Food Pantry Program is a crucial part of The Ark’s wrap-around services, ensuring a reliable supply of nutritious kosher food at no cost to more than 2,400 Ark clients from our Chicago and Northbrook locations. #KosherPantry #PersonalCare #CommunitySupport

Last night, The Ark partnered with Jewish United Fund Professionals Network, Jewish Neighborhood Development Council of Chicago, and Coli to host 50 members of The JWE - The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur & Executive for an insightful session on "Using Our Voices as Women in High Stakes Conversations" led by Suzanne Muchin of Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. Suzanne explored powerful techniques and strategies to cultivate deeper, more authentic business connections. We were honored to welcome this dynamic group of leaders to our new space, reinforcing The Ark's mission and services among all those in our community.
