The Arc of Opportunity was honored to be presented with a very generous $4000 donation from Leominster Credit Union for the 2024 Annual Charity Auction! For those who are unfamiliar, the Development team prepares and hosts our Annual Auction Event to raise funding for our Family Support Program. The event is a special night for all to come together in appreciation of those who continuously support our programs and in celebration of the positive differences these programs make in our communities. Below is a picture of Katie Najjar, Senior Vice President of Retail Banking at Leominster Credit Union presenting the check to our CEO, Mary Heafy, and Development Director, Tess MacLean. As stated by Katie, “We are proud to help sponsor the Arc of Opportunity’s Annual Auction Event. The Arc of Opportunity hosts an annual Wellness Day in the month of November. Wellness Day is an entire "work" day filled with various activities and games devoted to supporting and improving all staff's well being. Offering a space for staff to unwind, Wellness Day serves as an outlet to focus on one's health or simply a time to have fun and take a break! This past November, Wellness Day was held at The School Yahd, where staff participated in a number of engaging activities and games that improved teamwork, trust and confidence. We are excited to see what this year's Wellness Day has in store for our staff! 😊
