Happy Caturday! 🐈 Meet senior “foster fail” Count, a cherished patient at AMC. Once at risk of euthanasia at ACC of NYC, Count’s fate changed when Talisman discovered a post by Little Wanderers NYC and felt an instant connection with this handsome 17-year-old cat. 😿 Initially given just two weeks to live due to heart disease, a massive ear polyp, cancer, partial blindness, and debilitating oral disease, Count’s situation seemed dire. Yet, despite his pain, he continued to radiate love, and Talisman took him into her care. 🦷 Count’s severe oral disease was expertly treated by Dr. Stephen Riback, AMC’s Service Head of Dentistry. 😺 Now, a year and a half since his rescue, we’re thrilled to see Count thriving—thanks especially to his ongoing cancer treatment with Dr. Ann Hohenhaus, Specialist in Oncology, and her amazing team at our Cancer Institute. Since adopting Count, Talisman has been dedicated to ensuring his comfort and care. We feel incredibly fortunate to know this special senior! 😻 Count wants to remind everyone to consider fostering and adopting, and not overlook animals in their golden years. 💛✨ #fosterfail #seniorcat

UPDATE: This pup ingested a tape measure. This dog was brought to AMC's 24/7 ER after experiencing vomiting and loss of appetite. 🐶 Our veterinarians discovered the dog had ingested an object that would need to be surgically removed.
