Our School: Tech Zone HVAC School holds an HVAC Fundamentals that is 100 hours long, (licensed by TWC Career Schools and Colleges, license #3960/licensed by Louisiana Board of Regents, license #2355 ). The program is designed to take those with little or no experience and get them ready for a career in HVAC. We do this by focusing on hands-on repetition in a real-life, practical setting, using real tools and equipment. How does it work, what do you teach?: We focus on hands-on repetition in a real life setting in our interactive lab, along with learning the theory side in our traditional classroom. We cover how to use tools, system diagnostics, troubleshooting, how to braze, how to calculate Superheat and Subcooling, and much more. What will I receive upon completing the course?: Students will graduate with their EPA 608 Universal Technician certificate, along with a Certificate of Completion from our school.
