A few of us at Huntress stayed up all night to uncover the full impact of the risk suggested in the most recent ConnectWise #ScreenConnect advisory. We independently verified the vulnerability and recreated a full exploit to compromise not just the ScreenConnect server, but even move to the connected agents. This one is truly a critical, "severity 10" threat. As far as we know, there has yet to be any in-the-wild exploitation, and for that reason we're being a bit more tight-lipped on the details. But seriously, please, please, please patch this one. Or your ScreenConnect won't be yours anymore.
