The Lakers have been arguably the most impressive franchise in the history of the NBA. The 5 players you see in the main photo ALONE have combined careers of 80 seasons (more than the NBA has even existed for). The secondary images show the card in the bottom left...an SSP (super short print) in which there are only 16 in the world grade to perfection like this one. The 2 Graded ROOKIES depicted are Koby Bryant and LeBron James. Kobe was drafted in 1996 as the 13th overall pick...STRAIGHT OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. He went on to give us 20 incredible seasons. The next player to ever accomplish both if those feats would be LeBron James...drafted 2003 as the 1st overall pick. The other 3...Wilt in '59 as the 3rd overall pick...Magic in '79 as the 3rd overall pick...and Anthony Davis in 2012 as the 1st overall pick. Most impressively, in my opinion, is the the fact that LeBron...having been criticized as "not having the clutch gene"..just closed his 21st season leading the league in 4th quarter points, while shooting a higher 3 point % than Steph Curry (regarded the best 3 point shooter of all time). He now has the most game winning buzzer beaters, alongside a laundry list of records this season. Having started at all 5 positions...he's about to make history for an indescribable amount times this year. Historically the Celtics have 17 championships, while the Lakers carry the same. There is not a human on the planet that he hasn't played for at minimum 20% of their entire life....and that's the anomaly at 105 years old..if you're reading this and were born after June 2003...he's been in the NBA longer than you've been breathing 🤯. And as the Lakers are showing likelihood go to the Finals...guess who's first in the East... None other than the Boston Celtics. Led be 7 year pro, Jayson Tatum.
