We are honored to work with Opportunities Academy, a school dedicated to empowering young adults with developmental disabilities. As the school year comes to a close, we want to celebrate the incredible impact of the school’s executive director, Sophia Scott, who is transitioning from her current role at the end of this term We were touched by a heartfelt note from one of her students. It's moments like these that remind us of the profound difference educators make in the lives of their students. I’m transitioning from my current job at the end of this school year. 😢 I was able to share that with my team and my kids (who are young adults) last week. It’s one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, and sharing it with my students was quite challenging and fraught with a variety of emotions. Well, today I walked into my office after lunch duty, and this was on my desk. This young man has grown more than I think he thought was possible. And I’m extremely grateful to have had the privilege of experiencing his growth. These are the things I’ll miss. I still do the work because of my kids.
