🌟 What an incredible experience at DeafNation in Little Rock, Arkansas! 🌟 We had the amazing opportunity to meet Warren "Wawa" Snipe, a Deaf influencer, who downloaded our Taptic app! 🙌 We also connected with Sorenson Communications Accessibility Support, T-Mobile Accessibility Wing, and so many inspiring Deaf advocates, professionals, and community leaders. 💬✨ This journey was as strenuous as it was awesome, and we’re so grateful for the chance to learn and grow from these experiences. An inspiring day at the Northwestern Medicine Mansueto Innovation Institute! 🌟 We had the honor of introducing Taptic to leaders and physicians from Northwestern Medicine, learning about the critical role of tech in healthcare and how startups can collaborate with hospitals to better care for patients. The feedback from doctors and board members was incredibly valuable as we discussed ways to enhance patient experiences, empower providers, and improve health outcomes. A special thank you to Salvatore LoGrasso for hosting and bringing together such a talented group of entrepreneurs. 🎉 Wrapping Up an Incredible Journey at 1871! 🎉 After an amazing 10 weeks at the 1871 incubator in Chicago, Taptic is transitioning back to IU Bloomington until May 2025 so that we, the founders and seniors in college, can complete our degrees. Our time at 1871 has been nothing short of transformative. We are incredibly grateful for the support and opportunities we've received. From insightful mentor sessions and workshops to the inspiring PYROS Cohort, every moment has been a learning experience. We've had the pleasure of meeting brilliant founders, making invaluable community and corporate connections, and gaining advice on building a successful startup. The talent and dedication that surround 1871 have constantly inspired us to push our boundaries. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. 🌟 Welcome Our New Interns to Taptic! 🌟 We are thrilled to introduce and welcome our talented summer interns who are joining Taptic to make a meaningful impact in our mission to enhance accessibility for the Deaf community. 👋 Welcome Gwyneth Osafo from Naperville, IL! Gwen loves Taptic because "Not only is it necessary work, but it has the potential to touch and increase the quality of life for a community of people that are often overlooked." Her favorite sign in ASL is "Turtle." Gwen will be focusing on community outreach in the East Coast, especially near RIT and the Deaf community in Rochester, NY. She is also a Research Scholar at Cornell University. Welcome, Gwen! 👋 Welcome Nick Rousopulos from Iraklion, Greece! Nick loves Taptic because "I haven't seen anything like this before." He is excited to work on community outreach in the European market, starting with his local community in Greece. His favorite sign is "The sign for 'okay,' which is international, used in most sign languages, and also the sign given to me by the Greek Deaf community as my name!" Welcome, Nick! 👋 Welcome Tyler Barros from Somerset, Massachusetts! Tyler (not pictured) is a Cyber Security intern dedicated to making Taptic secure and protected. He is an Honors Student at Bridgewater State University. Welcome, Tyler! We are excited to see the great work Gwen, Nick, and Tyler will accomplish with us this summer. Welcome to the Taptic team! 🎉

🌟 We're thrilled to share that Taptic will be integrating with St. Rita School for the Deaf in Cincinnati, OH, this August! Our technology will enhance safety by providing alerts for fire alarms, lockdowns, and tornado sirens. St. Rita School for the Deaf. Rita, a private Catholic school with 150 students from PK to 12th grade, is at the forefront of innovation in the Deaf community.
