Completed in 1965, this 150,000 square-foot, 8-story building was notable for its innovative integration of mechanical and electrical systems in an exposed concrete space—a unique solution for its time. Syska Hennessy’s mechanical design was recognized with First Prize in Mechanical Systems by the New York Association of Consulting Engineers, highlighting our commitment to engineering excellence even in the early days of our firm. #FlashbackFriday #Engineering #MechanicalDesign #DesMoines
