He focuses in the areas of retail and hospitality, transportation, and general liability. Prior to joining Sweeney & Sheehan, Matt clerked for the Honorable Robert P. Becker Jr. (Ret.) in Gloucester County Superior Court’s Chancery Division. Following his clerkship, Matt worked at a transactional and litigation firm and for the Superior Court of New Jersey Clerk’s Office.

Today is National Pet Photo Day. Sweeney & Sheehan, P.C. organized an enjoyable pet photo contest featuring our employees' pets, accompanied by Partner Denise Montgomery shedding light on service dogs. Take a look at the adorable entries below. In March 2024, the Supreme Court of New Jersey issued a ruling regarding emotional support animals and New Jersey's law against discrimination. Amazing Tails aims to train service dogs to help their clients maintain a safe and independent existence by assisting with everyday tasks and alerting to possible health risks such as seizures or low blood sugar.

Congratulations to our Partner Michael Kunsch and all other newly appointed and reappointed Hearing Committee Members to The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
Congratulations to all newly-appointed and reappointed Hearing Committee Members! Hearing Committee Members perform essential roles in Pennsylvania’s disciplinary system, chief among them to review Disciplinary Counsel’s recommended dispositions and to conduct hearings into formal charges of attorney misconduct and petitions for reinstatement. These efforts, which include reviewing pleadings and briefs, weighing evidence, and writing reports, are critical to guiding the Board and the Supreme Court in their determinations. These three-year appointments and reappointments became effective July 1st.
