The industrial market in Ocala continues to expand along the I-75 corridor. Institution investors and large multinational companies have deployed hundreds of millions of dollars into land and warehouses in Marion County, generating many new jobs and tax revenues for our community. We're also seeing entrepreneurs coming into Ocala. Just last week, we helped a family acquire a second generation warehouse to expand their growing manufacturing business. They're already busy at work remodeling, painting and upgrading their new acquisition. A special thanks to Fuje Ara and Saira Marin, our friends at SVN Commercial Partners in Boca Raton, who were a part of that deal. Here's a tidbit about industrial properties around Ocala that might be of interest: generally speaking, warehouse owners pay $1 per SF of warehouse space in annual property taxes.
