I started as a Junior Developer in another company, eager to specialize in Ruby. Unable to find that opportunity there, I moved from Kharkiv to Kyiv. My friends passed my resume to my current team lead, and we instantly clicked—10 years later, he’s one of my closest friends now. That move marked the beginning of my journey at Svitla. Since then, I've worked on several projects, integrated into the team, traveled for business, learned English as a personal challenge, pursued philosophical insights, and most importantly, grew from Junior to Senior Full-Stack Developer. My dream came true - I’m working in the Ruby world! 📍 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐮𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠? I immediately appreciated the company's supportive environment—minimal bureaucracy, seamless onboarding, and a collaborative atmosphere where ideas flowed freely over coffee or table tennis. These values—trust, flexibility, remote work, and friendliness—remain strong. What kept me most was probably my project team. I never imagined the teammates we started with would stay together for so long, but more than half of us are still here, and we’ve truly become more like a family. 📍 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧? I’ve worked on two projects - one in telecommunications and another in the solar energy sector. Both provided valuable experience and the satisfaction of contributing to the greater good. It's rewarding to have the client’s trust and opportunity to perform at my best. I've been fortunate to work with clients who genuinely valued our team’s expertise, which was highly motivating. Constant technical challenges sharpened my skills, driving me to become a versatile problem-solver. So far, everything's going well, and I'm in sync with both the team and the client. 📍𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮? After living in different places, I realized Ukraine is where I find my balance.
