Great discussion this afternoon with public health and healthcare partners in Southwest Virginia on building organizational resilience for Cyber Security threats. Appreciate the Southwest Virginia Healthcare Coalition for hosting and CISA for facilitating.

For those of you who have had the opportunity to go through a merger, you know how much of a wild ride it is. As we head into the end of our Q3 and continue through the rest of our fiscal year, we want to thank each of you for your continued support. We continue to work with our community partners and support regional efforts to preparedness, like partnering with VHCA-VCAL for their VLIPP grant projects, bringing HICS to the fantastic team CARILION TAZEWELL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, and partnering with Washington County Dispatch for weekly radio RHCC communications. We exist for one simple reason: to support Southwest, VA, with disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation resources, and we will continue to do so as we grow and evolve as a coalition.

Next month, we get the opportunity to hear from our friends at Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on two different topics! On Monday, March 11, we will discuss how to leverage critical communication services during an emergency utilizing GETS/WPS technologies in a brief 1-hour webinar! Then, on Thursday, March 14th, we will meet in-person at the Wytheville Meeting Center to discuss healthcare cyber resilience.
