The event was insightful and informative, featuring distinguished speakers and panelists in the field. #PSCacquisition2024 @PSCspeaks. Key highlights included: -Opening keynote by Nicole Evans, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisition, U.S. Department of the Treasury; -Panel discussion "Mythbusters: Where Are We Now, and Where Should We Go?" with Katrina Brisbon, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Acquisitions, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Jaclyn Rubino, Executive Director, Strategic Programs Division U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Trevor Wagner, Director of The Lab, U.S. Department of Commerce moderated by Ashley J. Lewis, Specialist Executive Deloitte; -Panel "Purchasing Technology: Keeping Pace with Innovation" featuring Geoff Sage, Director, Office of Procurement, Enterprise Service and Analysis Division, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and Udaya Patnaik, Chief Innovation Strategist, Office of Information Technology Category, GSA with Dorice Kenely, Policy Manager, Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the moderator. -David Berteau, President and CEO, Professional Services Council shared Trends in Federal Acquisition. -Sebastian Herrick, Director, Procurement Policy, Professional Services Council announced the Federal Business Forecast Scorecard. -Secretary of the United States Air Force, Frank Kendall delivered closing remarks. Such events are crucial for staying updated in the ever-evolving landscape of federal acquisition. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn and network at this prestigious conference.
