We loved closing out September with high school counselors from across Arizona! They spent the day at Sundt's training campus learning about what a career in the trades can offer their students. Counselors tested their skills on mini excavators, virtual welding and nail driving 🔨👷 Shoutout to Sundt's workforce development team for a fun and informative event! 🔔 The final bell has rung, and our Ink It & Pink It champion is Melissa Moreno! 🥇 Together with a match from Sundt Construction, our three fighters raised $319,480. These funds will support local nonprofits working to fight breast cancer in Sundt's 12 giving areas. This feat couldn't have been achieved without the generous support of our donors. Thank you to Scott LaPoint, Melissa Moreno, CPC, CM-Lean and Danny Gumm for entering the ring and battling it out for a great cause. This effort is a testament to our employee-owner culture and their passion for supporting the communities where we live and work. We celebrated the winner with a live event from Sundt's Tempe headquarters. A special shoutout to Reinkarnate Tattoo for inking our fighters! They partnered with us to design custom Sundt tattoos for each participant. We were also joined by Phoenix nonprofit recipient, Check for a Lump. Their mission is to provide free breast health education, mammograms, testing and direct assistance to breast cancer patients with wigs, support, and resources in Arizona. Stay tuned for the reveal of our 11 additional grant recipients across Sundt's giving communities. #breastcancerawarenessmonth #sundtservice

It's been 10 years since we constructed the Ocotillo Brine Reduction Facility (OBRF)! The OBRF is a 1.5 million gallons per day industrial wastewater treatment facility that recycles water utilized in manufacturing processes. The Sundt team was able to fast-track the detailed design, construction, commissioning and short-term operation of the facility to meet the client’s needs, as well as provide value engineering that allowed for the reuse of over $20 million worth of equipment.

In honor of the Sundt Foundation's 25th anniversary, our employee-owners partnered with local nonprofits in their communities to celebrate #ServiceSeptember. They packed meals, organized facilities, built bikes, led hands-on activities and more. We're grateful to be able to help our local nonprofits fulfill their missions. #sundtservice.
