The Summit Recovery Hub is a recovery community organization (RCO) serving Summit County, Ohio with recovery support services, nonclinical peer support, enhanced peer navigation for people with mental health and substance use disorders. If you have a problematic relationship with a person, place or thing. We want to be a safe place, to have a safe conversation, with a safe person about what you want to do about that problem and how we can help support.

The Summit Recovery Hub had had their bimonthly board meeting today and celebrated the wins of the past eight months that the recovery center has been open. Made new plans for the next year and approved a new board member, Doston B. Jones, JD, CIPP/US a compliance attorney for Akron Children’s Hospital and supporter of recovery.

What a beautiful night we had! Our first recovery community dinner was a success with over 60 people attending. We don’t have room for 60 people, but we made it work. We met new people we learned new insights into how people practice their recovery and we ate good food, We love getting to do this!
