Subsume at Dragon Con Part 2! Subsume and the founder of Subsume, Dedren Snead, had a number of activations where we activated the community and the different spaces. Here a couple of pictures showing the multitude of spaces and people we activated. To share a quote from Dedren, one of reasons Subsume is essential, especially at times like this is that "It is important to share our stories in the spaces we want to be". Subsume is creating space for that representation to be fostered and nutured. A week ago, today Subsume hosted our first Dungeons & Dragons table top intro meeting! This event was one of a multitude of activations that Subsume has going on leading up to DragonCon. Individuals, Families, and gaming enthusiasts all came through and got a sneak peak at the Subume location in the Underground Atlanta. We would like to spotlight the founder of Subsume, Dedren Snead for creating an inclusive and welcoming space that encourages everyone to be their authentic selves! Today during our Creative Juneteenth we had an amazing panel discussion with Lisa Ferrell, Fatimah Abdullah, and Joel A Mack moderated by Dedren Snead about innovations within the animation space. It was an engaging and dynamic conversation about how storytelling in animation is advancing. Each panelist had memorable insights into how they support innovations within the space of animation, particularly artificial intelligence, extended reality, and building diverse storys.
