It’s World Mental Health Day, and for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients and survivors, mental health isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. 🧠 Dealing with cancer is difficult at any time of your life, but when you’re an AYA (15 - 39 years old), it just hits different, leaving many AYAs feeling isolated, anxious, or overwhelmed. The uncertainty of treatment, the impact on relationships, and the challenges of navigating work or school can take a huge toll on mental well-being. That’s why mental health is at the heart of everything we do at Stupid Cancer. Through our meetups, CancerCon, and digital resources, we create spaces where AYAs can connect with others who just get it—peers who know what it’s like to manage the emotional rollercoaster of cancer. Because here, you don’t have to go through it alone. 💙 On this World Mental Health Day, let’s remember that healing is as much about the mind as it is the body. We’re committed to making sure that every AYA feels supported, heard, and empowered. Together, we can make cancer suck less. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #StupidCancer #AYACancer #GetBusyLiving #CancerSupport #YouAreNotAlone #EmotionalWellbeing #MentalHealthAwareness #CommunityHealing #BreakTheStigma

Excited to share that the 6th annual Golfing for Gabi event is happening on Long Island on August 5th, supporting pediatric brain cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Over the years, this incredible event has raised nearly $400,000! Let's help them grow even more this year. While Stupid Cancer primarily focuses on adolescent and young adult cancer, we are honored to highlight this important cause in support of the broader cancer community.
