It’s National Women’s Equality Day! On August 26, 1920, some American women earned the constitutional right to vote for the first time. Now, 104 years later, there’s a woman of color on the presidential ballot for the first (and certainly not the last) time. There is much work to be done to achieve true equality and justice for all – but today, we pause to celebrate the many women who have dedicated themselves to creating a safer, more equitable world.
