Hello everyone! My name is Dan Malgran and this week I'm doing our page takeover! I'm excited to share what it's like to be VP of Marketing at Steno. My biggest challenge coming into the role was building out a full Marketing department, which included building the function alongside hiring the team. The results have been exciting, and I'm hoping you've noticed our changes so far! I'm very excited about growing our Field Marketing, which includes what we call "in-market activations", and, hopefully, what you call "fun and exciting". A little more on our upcoming one in Los Angeles this week below, but first here's a little about me: 🛶 I'm an active hiker and kayaker, I have a fold-up kayak I got when I drove a Mini Cooper so that I could take it anywhere and kayak whenever I had a moment. I also take one of my dogs, Daisy, out with me now and then. 🚑 I worked and volunteered my time through part of high school and all of my undergraduate and graduate schooling as an EMT and Firefighter. 🪴 I'm newly a hobby gardener, this year I built a raised garden with tomatoes, multiple types of peppers, carrots, lots of herbs, and about a million leafy greens. Now, back to that activation! On July 25th we will be hosting an in-person activation called Scoops on Steno where we will be giving out free Bacio di Latte ice cream. Hi everyone, my name is Charity Rieck and I'm here to take over our company's LinkedIn page. I wanted to share what it's like to be a COO at Steno. One of my biggest challenges is optimizing the flow of information between teams and finding ways to streamline or enhance this process. The results can be fascinating, especially when they impact our Net Promoter Scores (NPS) which can range from -100 to 100.  Bad: Below 0 Good: 0–30 Excellent: Above 50 Before I dive more into that, here’s a bit about me: 🏃♀️ I love running marathons and have worn through countless pairs of Brooks Adrenaline shoes (shoutout to them for keeping me moving!). 📺 Watching TV shows with my daughter is one of my favorite pastimes. We are currently enjoying The Mole on Netflix. 📝 I hold a patent from my time working on a research team to develop a matching algorithm for Yahoo’s advertising system. Now, back to those NPS scores. Optimizing complicated workflows benefits our company and those who work with us, like our court reporters. We have built tools to make working with us easier and a pleasure to do. Currently, we are averaging a court reporter NPS of 85 out of 100. This is a feat we are incredibly proud of!
