Ward Creek project's clearing and snagging phase is almost finished. This project involves clearing 3.3 miles of vegetation and debris to increase channel capacity and improve flow efficiency. Thank you to the US Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District for this opportunity!
SSD is thrilled to work with Turner Construction Company as we have nearly completed some selective, structural, and interior demolition work, at NGMC Braselton. This facility is undergoing a $565 million expansion, which will nearly double the hospital capacity when completed in 2026.
SSD is proud to share we have completed our demolition scope of work for the Delta Sky Club project at Concourse D of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. This project added a 20,000 SF third level and mezzanine to the midpoint of Concourse D and expanded the width of the concourse to accommodate larger planes. The new Delta Sky Club included partial funding as part of the $1.4 billion widening of Concourse D at HJAIA. SSD Contracting’s role was to demolish a portion of the Concourse roof once the new Sky Club structure was erected and dried in. SSD removed the existing Concourse concrete roof from inside the new structure. Our new state-of-the-art BROKK 300 was used to demolish the concrete structure ensuring safe demolition conditions for our crew members to work while debris fell to the Boarding level. Thank you to ATL Builders, a Joint Venture (comprised of JE Dunn Construction, Construction Works, and Barnsley Construction Group) for trusting us with this scope, to our employees, and vendors.
