Our "WHY & HOW" Teamwork is the collaborative effort of a group to achieve a common goal or to complete a task in an effective and efficient way. Teamwork is seen within the framework of a team, which is a group of interdependent individuals who work together towards a common goal. At Splice we are a championship-focused team, all pulling working toward the common goal of decreasing the time to diagnosis and patient care. Though we don't see the patients that we are working to keep healthy, that does not diminish their importance and presence in our lab. They are our "WHY?" HOW?: Provide timely, high-quality H&E slides so that front line health care workers can assure their patients of a clean bill of health or speed to care for those who need it.

'New recommendations include those providing guidance for validation and verification of IHC assays performed on cytology specimens and predictive marker assays that have distinct scoring systems, such as programmed death receptor-1 (PD-L1). Additionally, while the 2014 guideline outlined distinct requirements for validation and verification of HER2, ER, and PR predictive markers, the update harmonizes the validation requirements for all predictive markers.' https://lnkd.in/ev_Rm5VV

It is never too early to introduce young people to the histology lab and its importance in health care. These two had a lot of fun learning about embedding, cutting and staining. Was really something to see them react to the H&E slides under the microscope. Art embedded in science. A beautiful thing. We are looking forward to hosting school field trips this upcoming school year!
