Weight, price, and threat protection are the three factors we have to consider when choosing armor. A lightweight plate with high threat protection will likely be higher in price. Whereas a more affordable plate with high-threat protection is likely going to be on the heavier side. To choose the right plate, you will have to determine your budget, the rounds you need to defeat, and how much weight you're willing to tolerate.
