Licensing well-known flavors or collaborating with established brands for Ready-to-Drink (RTD) beverages is becoming an increasingly popular marketing strategy. Successful collaborations have shown that aligning with recognizable flavors not only attracts attention but can also drive sales by tapping into consumer nostalgia and brand loyalty. As the RTD category continues to grow, licensing unique and familiar flavors might be the next big move for beverage companies looking to stand out in a crowded market. While the market for RTD cocktails continues to grow, manufacturers should be aware of the legal issues surrounding these products. Get in touch with our consulting agency if you have questions on making or selling RTD products. Our attorneys, experienced in this industry, have solutions for you. #SpiritsConsulting #BrandDevelopment #SalesGrowth #DistributionSuccess #ProductInnovation

Raise a glass to the rich heritage and delightful flavors of Scottish gin. Here are a few facts you can use to impress your friends next time you're sipping on a G&T. Here are three intriguing facts about this beloved spirit: 1️⃣ The Journey Began in Edinburgh It all started in the 1700s when the first bottles of fiery Dutch Jenever arrived at the Port of Leith in Edinburgh. Leith's strategic dockside location provided easy access to raw materials and exotic spices, setting the stage for Scotland's gin-making tradition. 2️⃣ Scotland: The Gin Powerhouse Did you know that Scotland produces 70% of the UK's gin? From iconic brands like Hendrick's, Gordon's, and Tanqueray to small-batch craft gins, Scotland truly leads the way in gin production. 3️⃣ A Gin Lover's Paradise You can go on a weekend gin lovers retreat to a peaceful Scottish island. In other words, gin paradise. The Wild Thyme Spirits Co on the Isle of Colonsay offers a fabulous Gin Lovers' Retreat. The trip departs from Oban for an ultimate weekend escape with an itinerary comprising cocktails, luxury accommodation, special gin tastings and much more. #ScottishGinDay #GinLovers #SpiritIndustry #BeverageBusiness #FoodAndBeverage #EntrepreneurLife #GinFacts #ScotlandGin

You won't be surprised to learn that indigenous Americans were making a variety of beverages long before Columbus arrived. It is believed that they were making wine more than 500 years ago as well as caffeinated beverages that may have come from the cacao or holly plant. Here are just a few native beverages that we know about: * Southwestern Native Americans, in AZ, NM, and Northern Mexico, drank something called Tiswin, which is a beverage made from fermented corn. * Meso-Americans consumed a beverage called Pulque, made from fermented sap of the agave plant. It is widely believed that In the Southwest, the wine was usually made from the cooked juice of the agave. * A popular summer drink for the Ojibwa people was made by dissolving maple sugar in cold water or they made a cold beverage with yellow birch sap. * The Micmac people drank the unboiled sap as a beverage and used it as a broth in cooking. #IndigenousPeoplesDay #CelebrateCulture #SupportIndigenousBusinesses #BeverageIndustry #SpiritsWithAStory #SustainableBusiness #Entrepreneurship

In a time when social media and digital interactions dominate, it's easy to lose sight of what truly connects us: in-person conversations, laughter, and shared moments. The "ComeOverOctober" campaign is all about reclaiming that personal connection by gathering with friends, family, and colleagues to share a glass of wine. A restaurant in the wine-centric town of Verona, Italy, offered diners a free bottle of wine if they agreed to put their phones away for the duration of their meal. This initiative highlights the importance of disconnecting from our devices to fully engage in the moment—exactly what Come Over October advocates for. It's about putting away the screens and getting back to the art of conversation and storytelling over a glass of wine. Come Over October offers a fantastic chance for wine retailers, restaurants, and hospitality venues to create themed events, offer wine specials, or even host "phone-free" gatherings to encourage deeper engagement. By participating, businesses not only drive sales but also foster a sense of community and connection that resonates with today’s consumers. #ComeOverOctober #ReconnectOverWine #WineAndFriends #SpiritsIndustry #EntrepreneurLife #CelebrateTogether #InPersonConnection
