New date announced! Following a great conversation at the Social Innovation Summit about equitable financing for startups, I'm delighted to share our rescheduled LinkedIn Live, taking place September 5th at 12pm ET. Join us for an insightful conversation, learning how to access new forms of capital for startups, gaining an understanding of blended finance, and hearing from our guests from UBS, Mastercard, and Hello Alice about opportunities for the private sector to partner with startups for mutual benefit. In an era where traditional funding avenues may fall short, understanding how to access new forms of capital becomes crucial for entrepreneurial success. Our expert panel, Jamie Sears, Managing Director, Co-Head of Social Impact and Philanthropy US at UBS, Amber Dawkins, VP, North America Product Management at Mastercard, and Natalie Diamond, VP of Business Development at Hello Alice will discuss these topics and the potential impact on startup ecosystems. RSVP at the event link below so you know when we go live, reshare this post to help other founders join the event, and share your questions in advance in the discussion section of the event page. #EquitableFinancing #ARCFund #SISOmni #InclusiveEntrepreneurship #BlendedFinance #Crowdfunding #StartupTips #ImpactFounders

I’ve received great feedback from the many connections I made at #SIS24. It’s been a pleasure to hear so many of you found the session I hosted on The Urgency of Now valuable—a topic that is critical to us all. I was delighted to share the Social Innovation Summit stage with the panelists, performers and other session leaders.  For those who missed it or are curious about how #TruistFoundation is working to break down barriers, take a few minutes to watch the video of my opening remarks below:

President, Redstone Family Foundation & Co-Founder, Campus Without Walls

Last week, I was honored to represent the Redstone Family Foundation by speaking on a panel at the Social Innovation Summit alongside two brilliant leaders-- Lara Littlefield, Executive Director for Partnerships and Programs at the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, and Katherine F. Pickus, Vice President - Sustainability and Global Impact at Tyson Foods, who moderated the conversation. Together, we discussed the power of private philanthropy and how our respective organizations drive meaningful change. I was particularly proud to highlight our partnerships with the Boston YMCA's Building Togetherness Program and American Jewish Committee (AJC) Atlanta's Black & Jewish Teen Initiative - two amazing programs that are fostering unity and building cross-cultural understanding and relationships for young people from preschool to high school. Events such as the Social Innovation Summit remind me how lucky I am to work in the philanthropic space. It was incredible to see and hear from so many people around the country dedicated to social impact and change. For those of you who want to watch the panel, I have included the link:https://lnkd.in/etWhNXu6 #SIS24 #SocialInnovationSummit
