WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE CATASTROPHE. The devastation is shocking. We have had the responsibility – and the deep honor – to be “boots on the ground” in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s destruction, where we are providing immediate #drone aerial support. What we have seen has been heartbreaking. 🔹 Our #UAS deployments have been to remote, isolated areas that are in some cases entirely cut off from access to the outside world. 🔹 Our work has provided emergency responders with a bird's-eye view of the damage, helping prioritize their efforts and identify areas of critical need. 🔹 Nothing is better than a drone to provide this kind of real-time information, at scale across a wide area, and in some cases to make critical and life-saving interventions. I have the enormous fortune to be colleagues with an incredibly dedicated and passionate group of people at Skyfire | AI, folks who do this in significant part to make a difference. This week, we’ve had that opportunity, and then some. Heartfelt thanks to our deployed personnel on the ground and in the air, and to the hard-working teams that support them.
