We think Saishin, the rooftop sushi counter we constructed at the Gansevoort Hotel Group, helps provide the perfect ambiance for sushi aficionados. But don’t take our word for it! We love how writer, Neha Talreja, described the counter in The Infatuation: “Located on the Gansevoort rooftop in Meatpacking, Saishin’s intimate rooftop terrace is the most romantic place you can eat hamachi with your lover. There’s one sushi counter inside, enclosed in floor-to-ceiling glass windows so you can still peep at the view. Outside, there are five booths with enough room for big groups, but most are occupied by couples sitting on the same side, watching over the city as the breeze rolls in from the Hudson.” Check out that view of the skyline in the photo by Neha Telreja.
