The SIOR FOUNDATION has awarded a $22,000 grant to the KSD - Київська школа девелопменту ex. ULPM school Kyiv School of Development (KSD) to launch a new ‘Recovery Manager’ program aimed at training at least 100 reconstruction specialists to help rebuild Ukraine. This initiative, supported by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Foundation, is focused on educating the next generation of property professionals in responsible and sustainable development, promoting best practices, and expanding the global commercial real estate community. The new program by KSD, based in the heart of Kyiv, is dedicated to equipping property professionals with essential skills to regenerate towns and villages damaged by recent conflicts. Since 2017, KSD has been at the forefront of real estate development education in Ukraine, training over 450 market specialists, managers, and architects. Iain Finnegan SIOR FRICS FSCSI, President of the SIOR European Chapter, shared: “The grant will enable the ‘Recovery Manager’ program to benefit not just those who enter the real estate profession but Ukraine as a whole.
