Senior Manager @AbsoluteLabs | Retail IT | Business Analytics | Sustainability | Co-Founder of Award winning NGO - Little-WISE (Warriors Inspiring Sustainable Earth

Its not where you are, but the journey that brought you to where you are! As a person who had over a decade of experience in Blue-chip companies, I heard this from many people 'I want to do more for the society'. I had that gut feeling too... What if I could use my experience on a social/ environmental cause? It required significant effort, overcoming setbacks, valuable learnings, and, of course, numerous impactful interactions with schools, children, and parents.. I managed to devise an engaging and gamified way for children to get more aware and bring in plastic for collection drives conducted by my NGO Little-WISE (Warriors Inspiring Sustainable Earth), So far, we've collected close to 3 metric tons of #plastic from 1900+ children! Its not a surprise we even won an award for #UNSDG11 - Sustainable cities and Communities. While that's still running, a feeling of me loosing out on all the corporate experience I gained, remained. When I decided to get back to work, It took a lot of thought on What's the best addition to my CV next... Maybe a CSPO certification? After thoroughly researching the best place to obtain this certification, I found that Simplilearn not only had high ratings but was also recommended by several highly respected professionals who completed their PMP certification there. Rest, is in my title... What I did not know back then is, that decision of mine would result in me being showcased in their Learner review series. It struck me on how they put in the effort to bring out the human side of the story behind their learners. Thanks Simplilearn, for this great opportunity. Spoiler alert: I was further invited for a podcast with their founder Krishna Kumar... more, when its out!

Upstreamlife Media Pvt Ltd helps Global Capability Centres (GCCs) to curate content that reiterate values to their stakeholders and enables them to continuously tell stories in channels of distribution owned by them.

India has a sort of conundrum with its engineers and talent in general. While the human capital is very strong, the relevance of them, both young and experienced, is a little shaky. We have the strength to up the game to become a global business power, driven by software and services, yet I see companies fighting for the same 500k talent pool each year making our talent expensive. If Indian engineering has to grow as a real power then India's industrial houses must embrace digital transformation. Indian mid-level talent and graduate talent must be made relevant for global industry. Its universities must be forced to deliver quality and not quantity. In the thick of these conversations is Krishna Kumar of Simplilearn. He spoke with theUpStreamLife Media Pvt Ltd about his business of learning, training and skilling individuals in the USA & in India. He talks about what India must do to become the knowledge hub for the world and what India can do in the era of #AI. Tell me what you people think India must do.
