This week has been a whirlwind of relief and recovery efforts for the victims of Hurricane Helene. As a company, we hold Community as one of our core values, and we’re proud to stand with our communities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Carolina—many of which are small, rural towns severely impacted by the storm. Our commitment to giving back runs deep. Together with local residents, we've organized to deliver vital supplies to the hardest-hit areas. This week, we provided a trailer and driver to transport supplies to Flat Rock, North Carolina, and have additional deliveries planned for the upcoming week. Additionally, our Half-Moon Outfitters division is hosting a benefit concert tonight in Charleston, SC, to collect additional donations, which will also be delivered in the coming days. Many organizations are working tirelessly to support these relief efforts. If you feel inspired to contribute, please consider donating to one of the following organizations: Samaritan's Purse, Wine To Water, Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina/Feeding the Carolinas, The Childrens Council of Watauga County Inc., Two Ten Footwear Foundation, or a charity of your choice. #HurricaneHelene #community #WNCstrong #HeleneSupport #HeleneRelief

We were presented with an interesting question at our District Manager’s Meeting. So, what would you pack for a trip to space?

What would you pack for space? I love asking people what they would take to space. Do you have something that you’d absolutely need to take with you?

We were truly honored to have Sian “Leo” Proctor, Ph.D. SpaceX astronaut from Inspiration4, speak at our SHOE SHOW, INC. District Manager's meeting. Her incredible journey to space reminded us of the limitless potential we all have when we leverage our unique strengths, passions, and the power to inspire those around us. Dr. Proctor’s message aligns with our commitment to embracing J.E.D.I. (just, equitable, diverse, and inclusive) values in every aspect of life, work, and beyond. We are excited to continue aiming high, pushing boundaries, and creating a more inclusive environment for all. SHOE SHOW, INC. announces the retirement of Mark Judge after more than 25 years as the Company’s Handbag Buyer. Mark’s valuable and significant contribution has assisted in the success and growth of the Company. Mark’s career began in 1977 in Buffalo, NY. Unable and desperate to find employment, Mark took a job selling shoes at a department store. Little did he know where that decision would lead. Mark has held many jobs in the footwear industry. Mark managed stores, has been a district manager for US Shoe Corp., worked in distribution and finally buying. Mark arrived at SHOE SHOW, INC. in 1999 and has spent the last 25 years buying handbags and other accessory items. Mark states he will be forever grateful to the Tucker family for the opportunity they offered and considers SHOE SHOW, INC. to be extended family. Sara Fink joined the SHOE SHOW, INC. family in 2009 in the Merchandising and Buying Department as Buyer Support for Accessories and moved to Merchandise Planner shortly thereafter. In January of 2024, Sara began partnering with Mark Judge as a Handbag Buyer so there would be a smooth transition upon his retirement. Prior to joining SHOE SHOW, INC., Sara worked in the education field and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. #handbags #growth #shoes #footwear #fashion
